In-Service of Srimad Bhagavatam (INSS), an initiative dedicated to sharing Srila Prabhupada’s teachings with a broader audience, has launched Vedavarsity, a platform offering comprehensive Vedic education. As part of its mission, Vedavarsity is introducing the 21-Day Srimad Bhagavatam Reading Challenge, beginning on March 24, 2025. This challenge is designed to help participants deepen their connection with the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavatam through structured daily reading assignments, guided support from experienced facilitators, and interactive group discussions aimed at enhancing understanding and spiritual growth.

The online course is open to devotees at all levels, whether they are new to the Srimad Bhagavatam or have been reading it for years.  The speakers will be Lokanath Swami, Bhakti Brhat Bhagawat Swami, Bhakti Dir Damodar Swami, S.B. Keshava Swami, Umapati Das, Amogh Lila Das and Brajsundar Das. The structure of the challenge is designed to make it manageable and accessible, encouraging participants to dedicate a fixed time each day for reading and contemplation.

By the end of the 21 days, participants are expected to develop a stronger connection to the teachings and find inspiration to continue their study of the Bhagavatam beyond the challenge. The program also includes opportunities for participants to engage with a community of like-minded devotees, fostering a sense of unity and shared spiritual growth. The top two participants will get the complete Srimad Bhagavatam set for free.

After traveling to 174 cities across 21 countries over a decade, Brajsundar Das initiated the INSS. On January 16, 2025, inspired by Bhakti Dhir Damodar Swami, he recognized the need for a structured platform to connect people to the principles of Bhakti and the wisdom of the Srimad Bhagavatam. INSS aims to provide practical and spiritual training to devotees and seekers alike.

Apart from Vedavarsity, INSS has several other projects. One such initiative is the Mahapurana Press. It seeks to support devotee writers, including Brahmacharis and grihasthas, in publishing their works. “The press will not only print books but also distribute them widely beyond the ISKCON community, including at bookstores, airports, and other mainstream venues. This will help make the teachings of Krishna Consciousness more accessible to the general public. The goal is to create a global distribution network, ensuring that spiritual literature reaches a wider audience,” explained Brajsundar Das.

INSS is also preparing to launch PIVOTRA, a training platform focused on personal development and spiritual training. Registration for PIVOTRA is expected to open in the coming months, including training on Srila Prabhupada’s books, self-monitoring of sadhana, and personal development workshops. A special wing of Pivotra will cater to Vaishnavis, providing guidance for building Krishna-conscious relationships, effective preaching, and balanced family life.

Brajsundar Das emphasizes that the success of INSS depends on collective participation and support from the devotee community. Devotees are encouraged to join the 21-Day Srimad Bhagavatam Reading Challenge as a starting point and explore the various offerings of Vedavarsity. Through consistent engagement with the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavatam and active participation in INSS initiatives, devotees can strengthen their spiritual foundation and contribute to the global spread of Krishna Consciousness.
