VANCOUVER, CANADA The 19th annual World Religions conference was held in New Westminster, British Columbia this past Sunday January 14th 2007. Delegates from various major religious denominations such as Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism were present to address the topic “God Solution” Bhava Das (ACBSP) from ISKCON was invited to represent Hinduism.
Apart from the various scholarly delegates several special guests of honor representing municipal, provincial and federal governments were present. Honorable Chuck Puchmayr, MLA for New Westminster was the presiding chairperson and moderator.
Speaking authoritatively from the teachings of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder acharya for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, Bhava, developed his allotted 20 minute lecture time blending universal transcendental principles that applied and appealed to persons of all faiths.
After each of the delegates spoke, the audience submitted written questions. Some of the questions were to specific speakers and others were to all delegates to answer. A two minute time frame per answer was allotted to each delegate per question.

A special book table was set up in the lobby of the conference theatre and over 200 books were distributed to parliamentary members, delegates and general audience members. Overall it was a wonderful event and organizers of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community were enthusiastic to invite us to other such conferences.
