A Photo Exhibition Opens at the Moscow Krishna Temple

On December 16th, 2012, a photo exhibition opened at the Sri Sri Doyal Nitai Sacisuta temple in Moscow. The exposition is entitled “Hare Krishna, Moscow!” It consists of 108 photographs by Alexey Koshelev and is dedicated to his teacher, professor of arts Alexander Lapin, who has left this world on October 25th, 2012.

About 500 Vaisnavas were present at the opening. They glorified the departed soul of the talented man with a triple “Haribol!”, dances and kirtan.

The exhibition is open for the public each Sunday.

Alexey Koshelev is am ISKCON devotee whose profession is theatrical photographer. In the past five years he has been taking pictures of different programs and festivals in Moscow with great enthusiasm. Today, he has a whole collection of photos of Moscow devotees. This has given him an idea to create an exhibit, at the same time glorifying his teacher who has taught him these skills.

The pictures show the loving, welcoming and happy side of the Russian devotees.
