ISKCON Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh, India) has recently purchased a 87.5 acres of land near Vrindavan, on which a new campus for the Bhaktivedanta Gurukula International School (BGIS), as well as a new goshalla will be built. Another 12.5 acres of land will be registered shortly.

The 100 acres of land is situated near Ajhai Village, near Mathura, which is 3 km from the national highway, opposite to Gansehi Lal Agarwal (GLA) University. On the western border of the land there is a 250 acre forest. Radha- kund is 10 km, and ISKCON Vrindavan’s headquarters, the Krishna-Balaram Mandir is 15 km from the newly acquired land.

It has been more than a year since the BGIS started to look for a suitable patch of land. And now, the obstacles have been removed from realizing the new gurukula project, which includes a goshala, botanical garden, organic farming and will use solar energy system.
